Pasco-Hernando Community College Porter Campus at Wiregrass

Campo Engineering has experience working on many Higher Education/Institutional Projects. Campo is actively working on several higher education projects in Pasco, Hernando and Hillsborough counties including the Pasco-Hernando Community College Porter Campus at Wiregrass. This project involved the design, permitting and construction phase services associated with a new campus including buildings and entries with the associated infrastructure (i.e., parking, roadways, sidewalks, utilities, wet detention ponds, etc.). The stormwater management design included utilizing existing isolated wetlands onsite for treatment. Permitting through the SWFWMD and ACOE resulted in both enhanced wetland buffers and a preserved undisturbed buffer along the creek system that meanders through the site. Gopher tortoise relocations and a Wildlife Species Assessment were also integral to the permitting process. Offsite turnlane improvements were coordinated and permitted through Pasco County.
